Charles Lines BA (Hons.) MBILD Charles started his training career with HM Customs and Excise as a staff trainer and followed this by taking up a Senior Lecturer post with the Civil Service College, where he stayed for over five years. His last post before becoming a freelance consultant was as Head of Training at The Office for Standards in Education. Charles is currently an Associate of the National School of Government, Capita Learning and Development and RIPA International. He also undertakes international work on behalf of the European Community. He is particularly experienced in the design and delivery of core skills, management skills and team working programmes and is very keen that participants gain practical ideas, approaches and solutions that they can apply immediately to their work place contexts. Recent projects have seen Charles developing current thinking and training in the area of partnership working and helping several high profile public service organisations effectively manage major change.
